The last few days US stocks have been on fire (+350pts) albeit largely due to European Bank measures to extend liquidity measures but also an increase in US domestic retail sales.
Here in Australia the market started higher but was sold off in the afternoon and only finished 18 points higher.
If the American Markets have another rally tonight Australian time we could be in for a good day on the markets on Monday.

Now is an excellent time to pick up bargains before next years first quarter dividend period.
Some good medium term stock market investing options include Bradken (BKN) as mining activity ramps up expansions as well as the sale of QNR ipo, also Woolworths (WOW) which should see a somewhat dramatic turnaround in trade, and in particular Coca Cola (CCL) which is bearing down on a two month low.
As always time your entry just off bottomed prices!
